My friend’s daughter, Kerie, was in a freak car accident on December 21, 2025. She was ejected from the passenger seat of the Jeep she was traveling in. No other vehicles were involved.

Kerie’s face took the trauma and she suffered a shattered jaw and injury to her remaining face. All front teeth were lost.

Kerie was transferred to the nearest hospital for immediate care but was advised that she would need to be transferred to a larger hospital that would be better prepared to provide the surgery needed.

Kerie underwent surgery at the present hospital as she does not have insurance and transfer could not be approved.

This is the family’s overwhelming financial need, and why I am humbly reaching out to you for much-needed financial assistance:

1. Kerie’s jaw will be wired shut for six weeks. Kerie will require funds just for daily living needs (rent, utilities, car insurance, food, etc.).

2. Kerie will require immediate and ongoing medical care, but without insurance, this will not be available. She was discharged from further care by her surgeon following surgery as she had no insurance and the hospital cannot continue care.

3. Kerie is already facing insurmountable medical bills and she is still in the hospital receiving no care but having nowhere to go.
