Hello Everyone, my name is Joshua Basnandan. On July 2, 2025, my father, my role model, my hero suffered a sudden stroke that has left the left side of his body severely weakened. In just one day, the man who worked tirelessly for our family, who was always strong, capable, and independent, now needs help with even the simplest daily tasks. It’s been a difficult and emotional journey for our family as we adjust to this sudden change in his health and daily life.

Watching him struggle to walk, feed himself, or move without assistance has been heartbreaking. He’s determined to fight his way back to somewhat of normalcy to his daily life.

We’re raising funds to cover his ongoing medical bills and to purchase essential equipment that will help him live more comfortably at home; things like mobility aids, safety modifications, and therapy tools. Our goal is to raise at least $10,000, which will go directly toward his care for the next couple of months while he works hard to regain strength and functionality.

Every contribution, big or small, will make a real difference in helping my father heal, adapt, and maintain as much independence as possible during his recovery.
