Neighbors in the Phillips neighborhood of Minneapolis are organizing mutual aid to support immigrant families facing increased hardship and uncertainty.
Many families in our community are navigating sudden financial strain connected to immigration enforcement, job disruptions, and the everyday challenges of making ends meet. Through grassroots mutual aid, neighbors are coming together to make sure families have what they need to stay safe and stable.
Funds raised through this effort will go directly toward immediate needs, including:
• Groceries and food deliveries
• Household supplies and essential items
• Emergency rent support
• Medications and healthcare costs
• Transportation support, including helping one community member purchase a reliable used car for work and family needs
This is a community-led effort rooted in care and solidarity. Donations will be distributed directly to families in the Phillips neighborhood through trusted local networks.
Even small contributions make a difference. Mutual aid works because neighbors show up for one another.
If you’re able, please consider contributing and sharing this fundraiser.
Thank you for supporting community care in Minneapolis.
