On November 5th, life took an unexpected and heartbreaking turn for our beloved friend, Hesiquio Perez Alvarado. A dedicated single father, he was detained by ICE, leaving his four children—one of whom has special needs—without their sole provider. Since that day, his children have faced unimaginable challenges, especially his special needs son, who can't comprehend why his father is gone. This sudden separation has left the family in a state of uncertainty and fear. Their world has been turned upside down.

About Hesiquio: A loving father, Hesiquio has always been a devoted parent, working tirelessly to provide for his children. He has no criminal record, just a heart full of love and a commitment to better their lives. Caring for his special needs child has always been a priority for Hesiquio. His youngest son who was born with ring chromosome 14 syndrome, has epilepsy, and other ailments, requires ongoing medical attention and therapy, adding a significant financial burden to an already challenging situation. Every day, Hesiquio made sacrifices to ensure his son received the love and care he needed and deserved. Known for his kindness and willingness to help others, Hesiquio has always been there for friends and neighbors in times of need. Now, it's our turn to stand by him.
