Aid for Helms Family: Overcoming Hardship
Donation protected
My wife, Autumn Helms, was hospitalized on January 6, 2025, after a severe case of COVID-19 left her in a critical condition. Due to the gravity of her illness, she was airlifted to St. Mary's Hospital in Madison and placed in a medically induced coma, relying on a ventilator for support. Although her vital signs have shown some encouraging improvements, she faces a long and arduous road to recovery once she awakens.
As a result of Autumn's sudden hospitalization, our family is facing an overwhelming financial burden. With three young children to care for, the weight of mounting medical bills and household expenses has become increasingly daunting. Having missed a week of work to care for our children while they battled their own illnesses, and with Autumn's uncertain return to work, our household income has been significantly impacted. Despite my best efforts to juggle work, parenting, and monitoring Autumn's condition, the strain is beginning to show.
In this difficult time, I am humbly seeking support to help our family navigate the financial challenges ahead. Any donations received will be directly allocated towards our mortgage and ensuring our children's basic needs are met. I want to emphasize that I am not seeking a handout, but rather a helping hand to see us through this trying period. Your assistance would be deeply appreciated and would go a long way in alleviating some of the pressure our family is currently facing.
