Aid for Halima's Displaced Family in Gaza

Hi comrades!

My name is Anne Marie, I'm a comrade living in so called California, USA on Yokult/Miwok land. I run another campaign for a Palestinian activist living in Gaza, Muhammad Khaled, and asked that I run a campaign for his friend Halima. She is a mother supporting herself and several young children on her one income. The Israeli attacks and continued genocide against Palestinians in Gaza have left her and her family stranded with almost nothing. Here is a statement directly from her:

"My name is Halima, and I am a Palestinian from Gaza. Today I am addressing you with an urgent appeal from my heart. My family and I are in dire need of your support, and time is of the essence. Like any woman, I have dreams, ambitions, and a desire for a better life, not only for myself, but for my family as well. But the brutal war on Gaza has cast a shadow over our hopes, making it extremely difficult to achieve our goals. Then our homes were destroyed: mine, my family's home, and the homes of my married sisters. Our personal cars were destroyed. We are left with nothing, facing the harsh reality of displacement, donations, and living in tents. These provide neither protection from the cold of winter nor the heat of summer. I am the sole breadwinner for my family."

All funds will go to Muhammad, as he is my main point of contact with folks in his community, but all funds will then be sent directly to Halima. These funds will be used for necessities, such as food, water, clothing, PPE, etc. There is a blockade against aid going into Gaza right now, so any supplies that exist there are extremely expensive. Any support, whether it's direct donations of any size or even just sharing with your networks, is deeply appreciated. Thank you all, may we see a free Palestine within our lifetimes ️
