Our Story
My family has lost everything. Our home, our livelihood, and our sense of safety were taken from us during a dangerous and sudden situation that forced us to evacuate. We had to leave quickly, unable to take most of our belongings. In the blink of an eye, we went from having a warm, loving home to living in a place that barely fits a human being.
Our family of nine—my parents, siblings, and grandparents—worked hard to provide for ourselves and each other. We owned a carpentry and a bakery, renting them out to local businesses. The rental income was an essential part of our financial stability, helping us cover daily needs, education, and household expenses. Both businesses were destroyed in the conflict, leaving us without income and struggling to survive.
Our Struggle
Since we fled, every day has been a struggle. The markets offer little, prices are high, and finding a suitable place to live has been nearly impossible. Rents are as high as $1,500, far beyond our family’s income. Meanwhile, my siblings and I are trying to continue our education—my brother, a software engineer, lost his job due to the conflict, my other brother needs to finish high school to attend college, and my sister is a university student.
Our grandparents are elderly and need regular medication, and the place we are currently staying in is not suitable for them. They require a safe and accessible home that meets their needs, which adds to the urgency of our situation.
Our home wasn’t just bricks and walls—it was a place of memories, warmth, and love. Every evening, we would sit together, drink tea, and share stories about our day. That small ritual brought comfort, laughter, and safety. All of that is gone now.

Rent a safe and suitable home for our family, especially for our elderly grandparents
Replace essential household items we could not take with us
Support education for my siblings
Provide necessary medicine and care for our elderly grandparents
Help rebuild our lives after losing our home and a major source of income
