Dear friends and family,

My brother-in-law, Derrick Valdez, lost his battle with cancer on Friday, February 21st. He took a sudden and unexpected turn for the worst.

Derrick was only 45. He was a loving husband and father. He leaves behind his wife Carmen, 3 adult children, and a 15 year old daughter.
