Aid for Dan McVey's Final Days

I’m starting a GoFundMe for my cousins, Marvie and Dan McVey. Dan has suffered several strokes in the past few years, which have taken a severe toll on his body. Currently, he is battling pneumonia that has caused an infection in his lungs. The medical staff was able to drain the fluids, but unfortunately, in his weakened state, there is not much else they can do for him. Dan has been sent home in hospice. He will be surrounded by his family that loves him dearly.

During the past few years, Marvie was the primary caregiver for Dan. She quit her job in order to stay home and care for him. There is no life insurance policy or any other help coming in. Please consider donating to help Dan and his family at this horrible time.

** Update 12/16/24: Dan is very weak. He is not able to stand or hold a drink. Marvie and Mikel are the sole care takers at this time. He is not able to eat or withhold a conversation more than a few words. Sleeping has become the new norm. It’s not norm that the family is wishing to see and adhere to but being close to him brings them comfort knowing he is still here, even when in pain. Please help in any way you can.
