Aid for a Mother and Daughter in Grief

It is so difficult to find the words to say goodbye to my father. He was such a light in my life and truly did his best to be there for me every step of the way. Those that knew him knew my dad was the type of person you could always count on to be there for you no matter what. The person who everyone relied on for advice and knew they could trust. The loss of his presence has left such an emptiness in our hearts. My mother and I are doing our best to pick up the pieces of such a sudden loss.

Without him here, the struggle to financially make ends meet is a significant burden along with making arrangements for his memorial. It is not in our nature to ask for any help; however, at this time, we ask for the support from those who loved my father. I am doing my best to take care of my mother who not only lost her husband but also her best friend. It still does not feel real. I still feel as though I can call him and he will pick up the phone. I miss him so much already. ❤️
