This year has been one of the most difficult I’ve ever faced. In early 2025, a business partner took advantage of me financially, leaving me devastated and struggling to recover. Not long after, I was hit with a severe bacterial infection that kept me out of work for three months, and the combination of these setbacks has weighed heavily on my depression and anxiety. While work is finally starting to come back in and I’m doing everything I can to get back on my feet, I’ve fallen far behind. I’m deeply embarrassed to even ask for help, and doing this is incredibly hard for me—but I’m terrified of not being able to provide my daughters with the care they need or give them a Christmas they deserve. These girls bring joy and happiness to every single soul they encounter and the thought of not being able to return that hurts my heart severly.
