We are a group of tenants who organized in 2023 when K3 / Alpine properties bought our building and tried to illegally force us out of our rent stabilized homes.

The building suffered a fire on 8/22/24, leaving several families displaced. We’re raising funds to help support them with necessities like food, medicine, clothing and furniture.

We're also raising public awareness of the exploitative practices of the K3 / Alpine Properties group, and the lack of enforcement of housing laws by the city and state.

Somos un grupo de inquilinos que nos organizamos en 2023 cuando K3/Alpine Properties compró nuestro edificio e intentó obligarnos ilegalmente a abandonar nuestras viviendas con alquiler estabilizado.

El edificio sufrió un incendio el 22/8/24, que dejó a varias familias desplazadas. Estamos recaudando fondos para ayudarlos con necesidades básicas como alimentos, medicamentos, ropa y muebles.

También estamos creando conciencia pública sobre las prácticas explotadoras del grupo K3/Alpine Properties y la falta de aplicación de las leyes de vivienda por parte de la ciudad y el estado.
