Aid Eric and Vanessa in Honoring Josiah's Memory
Donation protected
Eric and Vanessa Fonseca are hard working parents, who do everything they can for their son, Josiah. Josiah has MD (muscular dystrophy), but despite the odds, he was a fighter and his parents supported his success in everything he wanted to do. Josiah wanted to swim with the dolphins, and his wish was going to be granted by the Make a Wish Foundation, but the COVID pandemic occurred, so their trip was postponed.
Josiah loved gaming, and he also was a very smart student who had hoped to go into veterinary medicine one day. He graduated with honors from high school just last week, and he was accepted to San Jose State University for college. His future was bright, and his family was so excited to finally get Josiah to swim with the dolphins this week in Hawaii. Eric and Vanessa took Josiah to the Big Island in Hawaii for his high school graduation, taking their first family vacation in years.
Sadly, Josiah fell ill on the trip and sadly ended up passing away unexpectedly.
Eric and Vanessa now struggle with the significant loss of their beloved son. This is something that will never leave their hearts. Josiah was and is a huge part of their lives. There is nothing we can do to bring Josiah back, but we hope to lessen the burden on their lives by helping them financially.
The flight changes, the unexpected costs due to the of the loss of their son, the loss of time at work, the funeral costs, the burial... Nobody should ever have to go through this, especially during the celebration of a huge life accomplishment.
The strength of Eric and Vanessa will get them through this, but we want to help. Please help us help them in making a difference. They both do so much for others, and they did so much for Josiah. Josiah was such a great, wonderful, sweet kid. Let's do this for him.
