Hi guys, I'm Natali and I'm seeking help to raise money for my baby niece Emery on behalf of Monica and Daniel Uc.

I want to start of with sharing a bit about Emery. Emery is the youngest sibling of 4. Emery is an amazing 1 year old baby girl who with just her sweet smile she brightens anyone's day. The joy she brings in our life's is unexplainable! She is smart and extremely loving. Her favorite movie is Inside out and loves to sing our made up song "Pumpkin pumpkin pumpkin "

Today we call her our beautiful miracle. On October of 2024 Emery was showing flu like symptoms, a trip to the ER and a chest x-ray showed a coin-shaped object lodged in her esophagus. They immediately had to transport her to Santa Barbara Cottage to remove the object. After removing the item the providers delivered the horrible news she had swallowed a button battery. Shortly after receiving the devastating news they then recommended to transfer Emery to Children Hospital in Los Angeles due to severe /deadly damages. We felt the bad news would not end.

Button batteries can be deadly to children. They can burn through a child's throat or esophagus in a little as two hours which had happened to her. Thankfully Emery is so strong and is still with us today. Everyday we pray to god to keep allowing her to heal quickly and allow her to continue being a strong amazing baby girl.

Emery continues to have difficulties and shows to have further damages that we were not prepared for. This horrific incident has put a major burden in Emery's and her family's life. Emery and her parents have to spend many weeks/months away from home from her siblings and away from work, causing severe stress financially and emotionally.

Monica and Daniel have been the most amazing/loving parents to Emery. Watching them go through something so severe is truly heart breaking. I ask for anyone to touch their heart and show a bit of support if possible to my sister and my brother in law. They are both very hard working individuals who right now need to be physically there for Emery.

In these hard times they will use any donations to help cover Emery medical expenses and food during their stay away from home. Any support to help this family is deeply appreciated.
