Shortly after New years day, Ed "Burger" ( as everyone knows him) had a seizure and was brought to the hospital. He was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. The doctors found two large tumors in his brain and two in his lungs, and one on his jaw.Ed had two brain surgeries over the last 6 weeks, which removed the tumors from his brain. He has been moved from the hospital to a rehab facility to work on gaining back his speech and mobility. In just a few days he will be returning to Ocean City to start his treatment with an oncologist. Ed can not work at this time and has mounting bills. His treatment will most likely include radiation and chemo, and he has a long battle in front of him. If you know Ed, you know he is one of the nicest guys on earth.
