Aid Allerton Displaced Bronx Families in Crisis

My name is Irene Estrada and this is our Allerton Community in the Bronx. Early this morning a fire swept through 2910 Wallace Avenue. Leaving many tenants homeless with nothing, I have represented this area for over 42 years and know that our people can’t be placed in shelters nor under these conditions because of their needs. Many are seniors, working class New Yorkers with children. Agencies will cover for a couple of days then the people are out on their own. This is to keep our community during these testing times. I will update you as we go through this. This is where great things happen.. it’s time to do it together. Thank you
