Aid Dama Grigsby: A First Responder in Need

My name is Michelle Harmon. This Gofundme account was created on behalf of my best friend & co-worker, Dama Grigsby and her family.

Last week, Dama's mother passed suddenly from complications of her recently diagnosed cancer. On the day of the funeral, Dama suffered a massive heart attack while grieving the loss of her mother so unexpectedly. While in the hospital, it was determined that she had 70% blockage in her "widow maker" and underwent an emergency surgery to place a stent to help with blood flow and ultimately to save her life.

Dama is a 47-year-old single mother of 3 children. She is a first responder in the 911 telecommunication field for 13 years and counting. She has relied on overtime to provide for herself and her family. Unfortunately, Dama is not out of the woods yet. She will now need to be in a cardiac rehab 3 times a week and will be extremely limited with the amount of hours she is able to work, if any in the near future. For over a decade, Dama has supported the community through her work with 911 and fundraising for others in the related fields. We ask now that you help our fellow first responder in her time of need. I will keep everyone updated on her condition as time goes on and we ask that you keep Dama & her family in your prayers during this difficult time.
