Hello Community,

Dale is a very close friend of mine who has showed up for me many times over the years. She is one of the most generous, loving people I know. I want to help her get through this awful time.

You've probably heard by now that our wonderful friend Dale lost her boyfriend Max yesterday. He passed away very unexpectedly. A lot of people want to know how to show up for Dale and support her during this time of immense grief and shock.

I'm making this page to raise funds for three important things-

1) Get Dale the grief couseling/therapy that she wants without her having to worry about how to pay for it. We all know how expensive therapy can be.

2) Dale and Max had signed a lease on a place in Iowa together for later this year. They were supposed to move together. They were planning on splitting the rent during their time there while she's getting her MFA. Now it's a different story. I'd like for her to be able to make this move comfortably and not have to worry coming up with rent while she's settling in there on her own and starting this new chapter without him.

3) She will need to take work off to heal and I hope we can help bridge the gap. Let's help make up for lost wages.
