Two young siblings in our community are starting over after their mother was deported. They’re determined to build a safe, stable home together, but they can’t do it alone.
The eldest will be 18 soon, and hopes to gain custody of her younger sibling. They are safely under the care of a family friend, who has arranged housing and a safe transition into independence.
Your donation will help cover essentials like rent, groceries, and school supplies, plus counseling and support services to help them heal and adjust to this major life change. Thankfully, they are very much supported by their friends, family and teachers, and are so grateful for the opportunity to build a life here together.
They’ve shown incredible resilience, but right now they need the strength of their community behind them.
Every contribution—big or small—goes directly toward giving them stability, safety, and hope for a brighter future.
Please give today and help change the course of their lives.
Please note that due to the age and nature of the circumstances, their identities remain anonymous, however if you’d like to contribute locally via meals, rides, etc. please reach out to us directly.
