️ The Lord Is My Shepherd — A Mother’s Faithful Fight for Her Daughter’s Future
Hi, my name is Ashley, and I’m a single mom to a joyful, curious 14-month-old daughter. Being her mom is my greatest blessing and deepest motivation. She reminds me daily to keep pressing forward — to build a life rooted in love, peace, and God’s promises.
Right now, we’re living in transitional housing while I walk through a difficult custody battle. This season has stretched me emotionally, spiritually, and financially. Still, I believe God is walking with us. One Scripture I hold close is Psalm 23:
“The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside still waters, He restores my soul.” – Psalm 23:1–3
In addition to parenting and court obligations, I’ve been working hard to secure a better future for both of us. I recently graduated with a degree in Digital Design and completed a User Experience (UX) certificate program in December. I’m actively seeking career opportunities that align with my skills and values — something that can offer stability, creativity, and time to be the present, nurturing mom my daughter needs.
I’m currently facing:
* Legal fees from the custody process
* Evaluation costs required by the court
* Ongoing treatment expenses I’m committed to for my healing
* The urgent need to secure stable housing
* The very real possibility of falling into debt, which I believe is not God’s plan for my life
I’m not asking for a handout — I’m asking for help to stay on the path God has laid before me without falling into financial overwhelm. I want to be fully present with my daughter — to read, play, sing, and create a nurturing home where she can grow into everything God created her to be.
“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.” – Psalm 23:4
Your support — whether through prayer, a donation, or sharing this with others — would make a real impact. You would be helping a mother stay grounded in faith, healing, and hope, while planting seeds for a future filled with joy, purpose, and provision.
Thank you for believing in us.
With love and gratitude,
Ashley & Maisey
