Aid Ariana's Mother in Her Final Battle with AML

Hi, my name is Ariana Ozuna. Just recently, after 18 years of struggling with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML), my mother’s disease took a turn for the worse. She now has Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), which is one of the most aggressive forms of cancer. There are no treatment options available to her. Unfortunately, my mother has had other health scares in the past that have been difficult to navigate through. On the 4th of July 2021, I had to rush her to the hospital for what turned out to be a tumor within her liver. An oncologist surgical specialist removed half of her liver and placed stents in her bile ducts. This caused her to have Secondary Biliary Cirrhosis. After the liver surgery, there have been so many complications, including GI bleeds and ulcers. After 65 trying days of being in the hospital trying to fight off infections and complications, my mom is now home. Now we are left starting our hospice journey. This is not how any of us expected to be spending the holidays together. Any support is appreciated to help our family during this time. God bless.
