My name is Ariana, and I am a full-time student at Gardner-Webb University, majoring in psychology. This year will be my sophomore year. I have a 2-year-old son, and I don’t come from a rich family, but I’ve been working hard to make sure they’re stable before I hit the road and go back to school.

The family recently found out that my grandmother has endometrial cancer, and that someone has bought our house of 16 years and wants us to vacate the premises by the end of the month. I have to leave for school on August 18th. This puts us in a financial bind. The prices for housing have gone up, and the temporary job I had this summer to save up for school was given up to support my family in looking for a house. On top of that the houses that we’ve found doesn’t take pets and we’ve had our dogs for years we can’t just leave them behind my son adores them just like the rest of the family.

All my family needs is a head start financially to be able to get a house with a reasonable number of bedrooms. My tuition is $9k a year, so I won’t be able to help them financially after this month because I’ll have to pay for my school.
