Hello friends, families and strangers. I am Caleb Kister, lifetime SoCal resident, and I currently reside in Highland Park. In the wake of the Eaton wildfire, my godparents Andrew and Joanna Towne unfortunately lost their home in Altadena and everything with it, their only possessions being what they packed in their suitcases. Andrew has been in the TV and film industry for decades as a member of lATSE 728, and Jo has served the LA Community College District as a faculty coordinator, and counselor since 2011. Jo recently shared a message with friends and family describing what her and Andrew's home meant to them:

"While we often griped about our 'tiny home' with its one bathroom and its many old lady ills, it was a home full of warmth, joy and love... We, especially Andrew, poured a LOT of time, energy and love into making our house the best version of itself and it was really where we created our life together. We bought that house a year before we were married."

The funds are intended to be used for their personal spending (food, clothes, etc.). I understand that they are only a few of the thousands that have been impacted by this disaster, but if you are able to, a donation of any amount would mean the world. Thank you all!
