Aid Alexandra's Recovery and Daily Needs
Donation protected
Hello everyone, my name is Jose Castanon I am creating this go fund me for my wife, Alexandra Castanon. Being the person she is, she is never one to “put her business out there”, which is why I am writing this. Life hasn’t been the nicest to her recently, as some of you may know she was diagnosed with myoclonic epilepsy in 2011 and then had a procedure in 2013 to help her with those seizures. She has since then moved forward and until now has lived very a healthy life. Recently, that device has completely died and “disconnected”, and her seizures have been back at a scary rate, stopping her from being able to do the normal day to day things she could do before. We both were working before, and though I have been able to take it on, she knows it can become much more of a struggle quickly, and she will not give up on trying to take some of the weight off my shoulders when right now she needs to be resting and getting better. She had urgent surgery 11/13/24 to hopefully get it all done in and taken care of one go; but they did warn her of a potential second surgery (depending how the first one goes ), and she will be unable to work for the next few months after due to follow up appointments, and needing to get adjustments to the new device. Due to her seizures and now the upcoming surgery she is unable to drive, and will need to sometimes Uber places, like to pick our son up from school, or to a follow up appointment if I am unable to take her that day. I am wanting to raise enough money to help cover some of the expenses for those rides, for her medications, upcoming bills, etc to make her comfortable during this time. It means alot to me to get her to focus on her health right now. If we are able to raise enough to take that weight off her shoulders while she heals and gets back to herself again, I would be extremely grateful for all that is raised. Thank you for your time reading this, for any donations that can be made, and for any prayers sent over. God Bless you all.
