On June 16th, I had surgery that led to unexpected complications. Just a few days later, I needed emergency surgery and was hospitalized. Thankfully, I’m home now and recovering but my healing process will take the rest of the summer, and I’m currently unable to work.
As a single mom of four amazing kids, this has been incredibly challenging. I’ve been doing everything I can to keep things going borrowing money from family, going to food pantries, even pawning personal items to buy toilet paper but we’re stretched thin. While my rent is covered, I need help with basic daily needs like food, toiletries, gas, and back to school essentials.
This isn’t easy for me to ask. I’ve always been someone who tries to figure things out on my own, but right now, I’m in a place where I need to lean on the kindness of others. If you’re able to contribute, no matter how small, it would mean the world to me and my kids. Every bit helps us stay afloat while I focus on healing and getting back to work.
Thank you so much for your time, your support, and your compassion. We’re so grateful.
