Aid a Mother and Daughter in Their Court Battle

I have a very good friend who is in need of financial assistance to protect her daughter from an emotionally abusive father. As she is currently going through the legal fight she is unable to share her photo with fear her ex-husband will find out but I can assure you she is a great mom that needs all the help we can give.

The weight on my shoulders feels heavier than the New York City air some days. As a single mom navigating the daunting and expensive world of family court, my heart aches with a fierce love for my child and a desperate need to keep her safe. For too long, we lived under a cloud of emotional distress due to her father's emotionally abusive behavior. Now, I am fighting with every fiber of my being for her to feel safe and have a chance at a peaceful and secure future for my precious daughter.

The legal battles are relentless, each hearing, each piece of paperwork, another financial blow. Coupled with the essential therapy – both family sessions to help her heal and individual therapy to process the trauma – and the sheer cost of living in New York City, the bills have become insurmountable. Debt is mounting, and despite working tirelessly, I feel like I’m constantly treading water, never able to catch my breath and financially get ahead.

The emotional toll is immense. The constant worry, the fear of the unknown, the sheer exhaustion of fighting this battle alone – it’s starting to dim my spirit. The darkness of depression creeps in at the edges, making it even harder to find the strength I need to keep going. But then I look at my child, the innocence in her eyes and hopeful spirit, and I know I can't give up. She deserves a life free from fear, filled with love and stability.
