Aid a Mom's Recovery and Christmas Joy
Donation protected
This is probably one of the hardest things I've ever done. Having to ask for help. Sounds silly, right? Those of you that know me, know how stubbornly independent I am. I don't swallow my pride easily. However, this is my moment in time when I need help. I need my "village".
At 47 years old, I sure didn't expect to be needing a total hip replacement, but here I am. On December 2nd, I'm getting a new right hip. Various things have contributed to this, but it ultimately comes down to genetics. God gave me a generic hip without a lifetime warranty. Darn it!
My #1 concern is being off work for 6 weeks for recovery. As a waitress, I work to pay my bills and there's not much left over to put away for emergencies (like this). I'm a single mom, with no help from Jack's dad (no pity please, it is what it is). I've figured out a couple of my major expenses, but I need help with the rest, and hoping to have a little left for a few gifts for Jack for Christmas.
Please do not put yourself in a tough spot, to help me. Every single dollar counts and is very much appreciated! If you'd like to help but can't give financially, please share, as that helps too!! God Bless you all for reading this far and for helping me in my hour of need. You are my angels! ❤️
