Here is chance for us to show up and make a difference. The dad of a local family was taken by ICE several weeks ago while driving to work. This family has been living as part of our community for over a decade - working, attending school and creating deep ties here. There is no rhyme or reason for his distressing disappearance. The father is now being held in detention and has moved from one detention center to another. Bail was denied. We are raising funds to help mom pay rent and provide for her large family as she struggles to make ends meet. A non-profit is providing legal help. All raised funds will go to help this family. Names are being held confidential for security reasons.
