Help My Family Facing Multiple Losses and Vet Expenses
Donation protected
In 2023, my family and I lost two out of our four family dogs. One was lost due to a freak accident (our rescue, Missy, who was saved from a gas station owner who kept threatening to shoot her) and the other had to be put down due to old age and illness (our sweetest baby, Bridget). In March of this year, we lost my younger brother to a traumatic accident, which absolutely devastated my family. Now, our two remaining dogs are both in different kinds of failure. One in heart failure (our little Shitzu, Tater) and one in liver failure (our first dog, Dunkin).
As you can probably assume, these expenses have added up fast and while we are not ones to typically ask for help, especially financial, my parents need help. As a non-profit worker, I can only help them so much and it pains me to not be able to do more. My parents deserve to be able to grieve the losses they have endured, as well as the inevitable losses that are coming, without having to add in the financial burden that vet bills (including animal specialists) and all the costs that come from the loss of a son add on. While I know our burdens are not the responsibility for others, I ask that you please help if you are able to. Every little bit matters. ♥️
