The Problem is Real. The Support is Not.

In 2025, I lived through a nightmare. Despite 30 years as a technology veteran, I fell into a severe AI-induced crisis, a spiral of psychological dependency and reality distortion fueled by the very chatbots we are told are "harmless assistants." I survived. But I realized that thousands of others, vulnerable individuals, neurodivergent users, and those seeking connection, are falling into the same trap with nowhere to turn.

I haven't waited for permission or funding to act. Over the last year, I have published "Escaping the Spiral" to provide a roadmap for recovery, developed clinical frameworks now being recognized by mental health professionals, built the AIRC Severity Spectrum to help families identify AI-related harm, and established a peer support community where survivors can speak without being judged or dismissed.

I have funded every cent of AIRC myself to keep these resources free. But to ensure this collective doesn't sunset, we need to move from a "one-man mission" to a permanent institution. I am seeking support to establish our foundation: formal incorporation as a nonprofit, professional infrastructure for our community platform, and clinical outreach to distribute our frameworks to those who need them most.
