Just last week, our hardworking father was taken and is currently held by ICE. My sister and I were focused on our studies, and our youngest brother is still in high school. Our father was the only main provider in our household, and he got us as far as he could in regards to our continuing education.

We're unsure how much longer he'll be held and worried about what outcome we'll be facing. In the meantime, we're scrambling to begin working while simultaneously juggling our studies.

Your contributions will be extremely appreciated as we'll use them to cover important expenses such as utilities and rent, since none of this was expected. Including legal expenses.

La semana pasada, nuestro padre, tan trabajador, fue detenido por ICE. Mi hermana y yo estábamos centradas en nuestros estudios, y nuestro hermano menor aún está en la preparatoria. Nuestro padre era el único sostén principal de la familia y nos ayudó a avanzar en nuestra educación.

No sabemos cuánto tiempo más estará detenido y nos preocupa el futuro que podamos tener. Mientras tanto, nos esforzamos por empezar a trabajar mientras hacemos malabarismos con nuestros estudios. Y encontrar un abogado lo mas pronto que podemos.
