My story, in case you do not know: I have been on workers' comp since July 2024 for an injured shoulder. I finally had surgery in March of 2025. The surgery failed, and now workers' comp will not approve a new surgery. They have cut off my payments, which are only 66% of what I was making. They gave no notice, which is against the law. So I have not received a check since last month. I took the last $400 out of my savings account to pay my rent for this month. I've had to drain my savings account since my injury and also live off my credit cards, which now have very high balances. My company I work for has canceled my benefits which Includes insurance, they habe the right to do so since I have not worked for over a year. I have ran out of most of my medication and the others are running out. I have priced them to pay and just one of them is 500 a month. I have never in my life asked for help. I have to now ask and feel horrible and ashamed to have to ask. Berni is in NC with her new job. My goal eventually is to move there. Berni is going to have to try and find us something to rent for now so I can be there with all our animals. We have a 19-foot travel trailer that she's in now. So we need to stay here at least 2 more months so she can get something. If not, I will go live in the RV with 5 cats and 2 dogs, and both of us. I will not give away any of my babies either. We will have to move all my belongings there and put them in storage.

I'm not happy about having to ask (beg) for help, but I'm at the point I have to. I already deferred my truck payment this month. I just paid the water bill and have enough for my truck insurance, and that will be all I can pay. There will be no money for rent for December or credit card payments. This is in no way easy for me, but I do not know what else to do at this point. Thank you for reading this, and just know I appreciate anything you can help with.
