Hi my name is Debbie, I am fundraising to help my family. On May 18th 2023 we got devastating news that my husband Jesse had extensive small cell lung cancer, that had spread to his lymp nodes and liver. Jesse has been the only one working since Feb 2016, when we took in 3 of our grand children. He was able to pay all bills, buy groceries, household needs and pay for children's sports and everything else with just his income. I started work in Feb of this year in the Davidson County School system. He's been outta work since we found out he had cancer, and doesn't look like he'll be returning anytime soon (I'veworked very little myself) . Jesse or myself don’t like asking for help, we were raised if you want something, or need something, you get out and work for it. Right now neither of us are able to work, and sometimes you've gotta swallow your pride and ask for help, and let ppl help.
