Please help save her home

Earlier this year I got heartbreaking news about my grandmother, the second worst thing that I could hear. That she could end up losing her home of over 45 years. On her fixed income, between helping people, her suffering health, needing surgery, trying to catch up on house payments, and repairs she’s been put in a financial hole that she cannot escape without help. To make matters worse the contractors paid by the state to fix her home stole from her while “making repairs”. They stole items belonging to her dead son and it tore her apart. So there is no more money to make the repairs, her home is still in bad shape, and she is having trouble reaching out for help after they stole so much that was important to her. My sister and I have been trying to pay everything for her but between my sisters having children and my income, it was not enough. Her home is in foreclosure and this is our last hope. I am doing this gofundme as a last attempt to save my grandmother and her home. She feels like this is really all that she has left, especially from the children that she has lost, and the many children that she’s raised in this house. I am trying to raise $25,000 to pay the mounting bills that loom over her head and to make the much-needed repairs to her home.
