My name is Shanice Wright, and I live in New York, but my heart is breaking for my family back home in Jamaica, who have been deeply affected by Hurricane Melissa. The storm caused severe damage to their homes and community, leaving them without electricity, clean water, and many basic necessities. Seeing my loved ones struggle from afar has been devastating, and I want to do everything I can to help them recover and rebuild their lives.
