Clay is 76 years old.
At an age when most people are enjoying retirement, Clay is still working long, physically demanding hours just to keep his family afloat. He doesn’t do it because he wants to — he does it because he has to.
At home, Clay carries even more. His wife lives with disabilities and can’t help with daily household tasks. Their adult son also lives with disabilities and needs care and support. So when Clay finishes a full day of work, there’s no rest waiting for him — only more responsibility.
Despite everything, Clay never complains. He’s kind, humble, and always smiling. A lot of people in his position would have given up long ago, but Clay keeps going — quietly carrying the weight of his family on his shoulders.
This fundraiser exists for one simple reason: to give Clay and his family some breathing room.
To help a man who’s spent his entire life putting others first finally slow down, rest, and live with a little less worry.
Any support means more than words can say. Thank you for taking the time to read Clay’s story and for being part of a community that shows up when it matters most.
