I am a councillor of 10 years in Walsall and the former Labour Group Leader on Walsall Council.
I resigned from the Labour Party because of Keir Starmer's support of the disproportionate Israeli military action, which many see as GENOCIDE - in Gaza and his refusal to support boycott, divestment and sanctions, particularly the sale of military equipment, from the apartheid state of Israel.
I was born in Walsall and have lived in Walsall all my life. I have lived in Ryecroft, Blakenall Ward, now for over 40 years.
I believe that Walsall people need and want a Walsall Voice to represent them and do not wish to be used as a stepping stone to get someone into Parliament.
This is why I am putting myself forward as a Parliamentary Candidate at the General Election.
The Conservative Party has destroyed our public services, targeted the poor , and made the people of Walsall and Bloxwich much worse off over their 14 years in power.
The Labour Party continues to take the people of Walsall and Bloxwich for granted, expecting them to vote Labour just because they are not Conservatives. Starmer offers nothing new for Walsall and Bloxwich and will stick to Conservative fiscal policies and will not give us the investment needed to deal with the priorities of the people of Walsall and Bloxwich - cost of living, safety, anti social behaviour, lack of GP appointments, The NHS, a lack of youth services, poor and expensive adult social care and many more issues.
I am determined to be an Independent Walsall Voice for the people of Walsall and Bloxwich, putting the people of Walsall and Bloxwich before any party loyalty.
The people of Walsall and Bloxwich will have the opportunity to vote for someone born and bred in Walsall and Bloxwich. Someone who has lived in the Constituency all his life, attended schools in the Constituency, built his home, and continues to live in Walsall and Bloxwich with his family. A vote for me will be a vote for an independent local strong Walsall and Bloxwich Voice. A voice that will put people before Party and will never take you for granted.
