A pillar of the Palestine solidarity movement in Ireland was recently arrested in their home, and charged for allegedly participating in a peaceful solidarity action for Palestine.
The legal fees to refute the charges are costly. We are fundraising on their behalf so that they can receive the proper legal advice and support to help them during this time.
Future arrests against other activists for allegedly participating in similar peaceful actions are also expected. We are asking for anyone sympathetic to the cause to donate to this fundraiser.
Update: for those asking for more information, the activist in question has consulted their solicitor and they are happy to share the following information.
The activists name is Léna Seale, she has been charged with the section 2.1 criminal damage act (1991) in relation to allegedly throwing washable red poster paint at the Department of Foreign Affairs.
