Afghan Family Seeks Safe Haven in Kentucky
Donation protected
Friends, if you are looking for a place to help in the world and make a positive difference in someone's life here is a wonderful opportunity!
We are working with an Afghan family, who have been granted special immigrant visas to move to Lexington, Kentucky. The father of the family worked closely with US forces in Afghanistan. He went through extensive rounds of vetting while employed on a US base and has gone through further vetting by USCIS (U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services) over the past three years as part of processing his SIV (Special Immigrant Visa) case. The family has faced very challenging circumstances and staying in Afghanistan is not safe for them. Due to recent changes in refugee and immigrant resettlement resources they are in need of financial help to continue following the legal process to move to America.
Thank you for considering this wonderful opportunity!
