Building a Better Pitch – Walking for the Future!

Our club is more than just a place to play — it’s a home for our current members and the future stars who dream of wearing our colours.

We believe every young person deserves a safe, high-quality pitch to train, play, and grow — but our facilities need urgent improvements to make that happen.

That’s why we’ve set ourselves a big challenge: a 24-hour sponsored walk!

Some of our incredible participants will be walking for 12 hours straight — pushing themselves to the limit to help raise the funds we need.

This is just the first of many fundraising events we have planned, and we’re determined to make a real difference.

We’re taking on a 24-hour walk around Killough to raise vital funds for Bright GAC — and we need your support! This fundraiser isn’t just about steps; it’s about coming together as a community to invest in the future of our club. Every donation will help us complete our junior pitch and improve the grounds, creating a space we can all be proud of.

We’re also proud to share that a percentage of the funds raised will be donated to the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust, supporting the amazing work they do for families in need.

Our goal is to raise enough money to upgrade our pitch and facilities so that every player, from the youngest newcomer to our most experienced members, can train in the best possible conditions. This investment will benefit the next generation of talent and keep our club thriving for years to come.
