Last Thursday, I received a gut-wrenching text from my sister informing me her house caught fire and was gone. We thank GOD that her and her four young children were unharmed and safe. With her living in another state, we owe such gratitude to her close friend that was able to take her and the kids into their home in a moment’s time.

My sister, a mother of four and veteran of our United States Marine Corps, recently moved to pursue a new life, enrolling in school in hopes of opening her own bakery, all while home schooling her four children. She is a rock in my life and her children’s and it’s heart breaking to even write these words, sharing that they have lost everything including her car that was in the garage at the time. Her home, personal belongings, keepsakes, along with all the kids’ belongings are gone; some things gone that could never be replaced. Her home was her place of rest and work.

Now, we are calling out to all those villages out there, asking for help to help her and her family rebuild what was lost. We understand this time of year is hard on some so no amount is too small. For those that would rather purchase something from Amazon, we have put together a "wish list" for some Christmas items and other things that would benefit her. Understandably, the capacity to think of what you need/want during hard times is limited. We will attach a link below
