Aengus for Ongar - local election 2019

Hi, I'm Aengus Ó Maoláin and I'm running for election to Fingal County Council in the Ongar area - including Huntstown, Hartstown, Littlepace and Clonsilla.

I want to help build a stronger community in Dublin 15

We live in one of the fastest changing areas in Ireland, with thousands of new residents and developments over the last number of years.

I believe that in Ongar, Huntstown, Hartstown, Clonsilla, and Littlepace, our diversity is our greatest strength.

When we come together as a community we can achieve remarkable things.  

Let's work together to make Dublin 15:
- The best place in Ireland to raise children and to grow up, with great childcare, schools, youth facilities, and play areas for all ages.
- A connected community, with dependable public transport that is reliable for commuters into town and around the city.
- An area that supports walking and safe cycling-friendly with proper planning and infrastructure.
- A truly accessible environment for children, older people and people with disabilities.
- A recreational hub with public sports and recreational facilities to reflect the needs of our growing population and community events that bring us closer together.


I want our community to thrive. I stand for:

- Honesty and transparency in our local government
- Protecting and defending our environment
- A truly representative democracy, where the community is at the forefront of all decision-making
- Building a community to last for the next generation
- A safe and inclusive community in Dublin 15




Every cent raised in this fundraiser will go towards posters, canvass cards, leaflets and other promotional materials to give me the best chance of competing with the traditional parties I'm running against.
