Face Shields for the Frontline

Hello, my name is Kai Lindgren. I am a Boy Scout in Troop 452. I am currently working towards my Eagle Scout rank.
Like you, I am grateful for the healthcare workers and first responders working on the frontlines during this crisis. Also like you, I want to do something to help.
During this crisis, there are shortages of personal protection equipment (like face shields) available to those working on the frontlines.
For my Eagle Scout project, I am planning to build 1,000 face shields and donate them to the City of Webster Fire Department, Friendswood Fire Department, and League City EMS. I have researched the necessary materials and each face shield costs a little over a dollar to make. I am hoping to raise $1,264 to pay for materials. Additional funds will be used to build more face shields. Labor will be provided by volunteers and all leftover money will be donated to the Webster Fire Department.
