Did you know that Plant based/Vegan options are NOT available to inmates and since COVID-19 they have raised the commissary food prices by 4x!!!!!

Anthony Avatar, a skater, plant based vegan, DJ and Househead from NYC, loved dearly by his community was unfortunately accused and incarcerated for a robbery he did not commit. The bias system gave him 8 years, he has served 4 of those years already and is up for appeal this year FINALLY! For those of you who know this dear soul personally or feel inclined to support a victim of the racist judicial system, please donate any amount you can to help keep Anthony Avatar healthy!

"Blessings and divine joy to family and friends. I'm writing to you today in hopes of your help, compassion and most certainly your love and devotion. As most of you are already informed about my current state of incarceration, some may be reading this for the first time. I humbly ask my friends and earth family for assistance with funding in helping me while completing the duration of my time at Mohawk correctional facility. Food has become expensive in our inmate commissary, even more so since the covid-19 pandemic. I have two and one half years remaining in my sentence, so any donations or contributions will exponentially aid me with food, hygiene products, and email/correspondence... My gratitude and thanks go out to everyone who has helped and blessed me throughout this difficult journey being incarcerated, I am deeply humbled, and forever grateful for your kindness and compassion...
light and love family, I hope to see you all soon."

All contributions will be geared toward commissary food goods, media correspondence, ie -Jay Pay email service/phone provider, and lastly hygiene products to maintain a healthy mind, body and soul.

1. plant based diets are NOT available to inmates.

2. prices constantly increase with commissary food products. making it harder for inmates to purchase food. healthy food items aren't on inmate commissary order sheets.

3. inmate packages are being banned due to "drugs and other contraband" this puts peaceful inmates under pressure, and in an unhealthy situation.food from their families keeps the connection strong to their families, by knowing a loved one has spent the time to think about them with the gesture of purchasing food products.

4.  officers constantly misplace, or send inmates food packages back to the postal office/return to sender, knowing that large amounts of money have been spent on shipping. produce becomes ruined, and money is lost due to the officers disregard for the package directive

5. officers make verbal and physical threats when inmates ask questions about the packages their families send to them. often times violent outburst form officer, beatings and segregated housing treatment/s.h.u. time is dished out, along with phony tickets to take away inmates privileges.
