Adrian Castro was just diagnosed with colon cancer despite being just 35 years old and very healthy. He had a bowel obstruction that required hospitalization and surgical intervention. He is now home and awaiting the tumor pathology results. This was obviously a shock to Adrian, his family, and friends.

Adrian also has a spinal cord injury sustained over a decade ago. Despite this, he is an avid bodybuilder, adaptive cross-country skier, and mountain biker. I have known Adrian for many years. He is a generous and kind friend who always has an infectious smile on his face. Despite all his trials, he stays optimistic and is grateful for his family and friends.

Due to the recent emergency hospitalization and surgery, Adrian has incurred overbearing medical expenses. Further expenses will be accumulating as his cancer therapy starts. I hope to help Adrian and his family offset some of these enormous financial burdens with a GoFundMe campaign.
