<div>Adrian Castro was just diagnosed with colon cancer despite being just 35 years old and very healthy. He had a bowel obstruction that required hospitalization and surgical intervention. He is now home and awaiting the tumor pathology results. This was obviously a shock to Adrian, his family, and friends.

<div>Adrian also has a spinal cord injury sustained over a decade ago. Despite this, he is an avid bodybuilder, adaptive cross-country skier, and mountain biker. I have known Adrian for many years. He is a generous and kind friend who always has an infectious smile on his face. Despite all his trials, he stays optimistic and is grateful for his family and friends.
