Adoptive Super Mommy Meg is in Need Of Help!

Let me introduce you to my beautiful, selfless friend Meg. I met Meg about 2 years ago when her foster daughter...we'll call her "O", came into her life. Due to circumstances that prevented O's parents from being able to care for her, Meg stepped in and was able to fulfill her LIFELONG dream of becoming a Mother.

Meg completed her undergraduate degree at NYU at the Tisch school and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Musical Theater. She was involved in national tours with "Grease" and "Damn Yankees" and has been in countless musical theater performances. After her undergraduate studies, she eventually came back to her home town (Meg was born in Chicago, but grew up in Peters Township, Pa). She was the director at a community based Arts/Theater/Dance Center when she decided to then complete her MFA in Dramaturgy after being awarded one of only 2 fellowship spots at the University of Pittsburgh. Then...Covid struck.

About a year and a half into loving on her sweet girl, Meg was shocked to hear that O's birth parents had another baby that they were unable to take care of. Meg didn't hesitate, and took in O's brother. She is now on the path to adopt both precious babes. She is living her dream with her beloved O who is now 2, and "O2" who is now 6 months old! They legitimately ARE the air she breathes. So O2 seems
appropriate!

Meg currently lives with her sweet Mother Barbara who helps her to care for the kiddos. They have plans to move to the sweetest little rental home in Squirrel Hill to accommodate the growing family. Meg dreams of using her Master's Degree to create programming in
the Arts for underprivileged children. Her heart is legitimately golden.

Since the pandemic, Meg has been unable to find a teaching position or any position in her field.  As you might know, the ARTS have
been greatly compromised, and one of the slowest to return to its' glory since Covid.

A woman who selflessly provides shelter, food, clothing and ENDLESS love to 2 children in need who might not otherwise receive it should NOT be struggling to take care of them. She should be able to enjoy these babies without the added stress of financial struggle. Covid has been SO hard on SO many people. THIS is just ONE of those people.

Can YOU spare anything to donate to Meg? ANY amount can help. Thank you for taking time to read about my amazing friend. And thank you for considering helping her, O, and O2.
