Thank you for visiting our Adoption Fund page. We are the Volkert's, Daniel, Emily and Jade. We have been happily married for over 7.5 years, yet we have not been able to concieve children throughout our marriage. We have both had extensive reproductive testing with perfectly normal results. In other words, we are perfectly healthy and should be able to conceive children, yet, for some unexplained reason are not able to.
 
It has been through the miracle of adoption that our family has grown and our lives blessed in so many ways. The greatest of those blessings is our gorgeous, polynesian daughter Jade. She just turned 2 in September. Another wonderful blessing adoption has brought us is our awesome relationship with Jade's birth Mom. She is family to us and we visit her several times a year. We feel so blessed to have her and her extended family in our life.

Emily is also a birth mom. We have a very open and wonderful relationship with her 11 year old birth daughter and her family! We visit them a couple times a year and have a blast seeing them. They are all family to us.
