Ana's Adoption

We have the MOST WONDERFUL FRIENDS!! Thanks to everyone who donated toward Ana's adoption, WE HIT OUR GOAL! In fact, we even received a little extra to help cover unexpected expenses (which have a tendency to keep popping up in this process). 

THANK YOU SO MUCH to every friend and family member who gave! You didn't just give money, you gave us peace of mind. We're so grateful to be able to focus on the tasks ahead of us without worrying about how we're going to afford it all. Really, we feel SO LOVED and supported. And it warms our hearts to know there are so many people who love Ana and want to see her become a Hunt, too!

Original "Adopting Ana" Story Post:

Ten years ago, our family made a decision that changed our lives in ways we couldn't have imagined... we became a foster family! The long months of tedious preparations frustrated us, but now we see how it all fit God's perfect timing.

When our family was finally approved, we anxiously awaited that first phone call from the county office. And then it came: "We have a little girl here who needs a foster family. Can you pick her up today?" That was the day we brought Ana home for the first time... and we've been a family ever since.


Over the years, God has moved in powerful and miraculous ways in Ana's life, protecting and providing for her at every turn. He's answered countless prayers from our family and friends. Even when the road ahead looked so hopeless and we weren't sure if we'd ever see our precious little girl again, God proved Himself able and faithful. He's used all things to work together for good. 



Ana is now 11 years old and going into the 6th grade. She's an adventure-seeking, light-saber-wielding, Mel-B-impersonating, history-loving-math-dreading, ballerina-aspiring, steak-consuming, Jesus-loving girl! Most importantly, she is a Hunt at heart and now it's time to make it official! She's wanted our last name for several years now, and we all passionately want the security and permanence that her adoption will bring to our family. We're so thankful for everyone's support to make this dream a reality!

We've been saving up for Ana's adoption for the past couple of years, but we had no idea just how expensive it would be! All donations from our family and friends will help us cover these mounting expenses as we go through the adoption process. This includes:
