Hi! We are Gina and Beth, the worker bees behind Wrap the World With Quilts. We have been to Poland several times, visiting refugee centers and food kitchens, and distributing YOUR donated quilts to Ukrainian refugees. In the past year, we have collected over 26,000 quilts from all over the US. Most of those have already arrived in Poland and Ukraine. They are making a difference to each family and child that have received the quilts. We have seen the impact this gift of time, money, and talent can have on another person's life. It's amazing!

We've been working with a fantastic charity, Chervona Kalyna (they help refugees with immediate needs, job searching, resumes, cooking classes, integration, and involvement in community events). They purchased an event center where they set up office and workshop space for refugees to grow a business and learn marketable skills.

We partnered with them to set up a sewing workspace where refugees can learn to sew for their families or to start their own business. The Polish distributor for Bernina has agreed to sell us sewing machines at a discounted cost. We have a US distributor of notions that has generously offered to donate cutting and other sewing supplies.

Here is where we ask for help... we operate solely on donations! We need to buy 20 MORE machines with supplies, at $300 each. We will take any donation amount, large or small, AND if you (or a group of you) want to buy an entire machine, we will add a donation sticker onto the sewing machine with your name and hometown.

Any funds over the goal will be applied towards other sewing needs to get another workshop space up and running!
